The indicated size XS, S, M, L, XL is for classification. The neck circumference specified when ordering (closed internal measurement!) is decisive.

Notes on intertwined leashes/collars:

In the braided area, the collar/leash widens as follows:

Strap width leather:

15mm = braided area approx. 22-25mm

18mm = braided area approx. 25-28mm

25mm = braided area approx. 32-35mm

Strap width BioThane:

16mm = braided area approx. 22-24mm

19mm = braided area approx. 26-28mm

25mm = braided area approx. 32-34mm

The EM chain should sit a little looser than the collar. Click here for instructions.

We make the collar exactly to the measurements you provide. Please measure exactly as the collar should sit later and do not add any extra leeway.

Care instructions for BioThane®

BioThane® is extremely easy to clean, robust and weatherproof – perfect for everyday use and every adventure.

• Cleaning: Simply wipe with a damp cloth or rinse under running water.
  
• Dirt: For heavy soiling, a mild soap solution can also be used.

Note: Please do not expose to strong heat or sharp edges for prolonged periods to avoid damage.

Care instructions for greased leather

Greased leather is a natural, oiled leather – soft, robust and particularly comfortable to hold. With the right care, it will remain beautiful for many years:

• Cleaning: Wipe off coarse dirt with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
  
• Care: If necessary, sparingly re-grease with special leather grease or leather oil to keep the leather supple.
  
• Water: Greased leather is naturally resistant to moisture, but should be air-dried slowly after heavy rain or wetness – never on a heater.
  
• Special feature: Over time, the leather develops an individual patina, which makes each piece unique and is not a quality defect.
  
• Note: Leather is a natural material and can adapt minimally under stress – this is typical for the material and not a quality defect.

Important information on use

Our products are exclusively intended for use on dogs. The selection of a suitable collar or leash (size, width, material) is the responsibility of the buyer. Improper use can cause injuries to both dog and owner. Excessive stress can lead to impaired function or product failure.

All fittings we use are selected to ensure that the straps fit securely through them and can withstand the specified breaking load. Nevertheless, carabiners and metal parts are subject to natural wear and tear, depending on the stress; material fatigue and breakage cannot be excluded over the years.

Bites, scratching, or strong rubbing by the dog can permanently damage the product. If a collar, leash, bandana, or even an EM collar is used daily, the product - like any everyday object - will show natural signs of wear and tear.

How quickly these occur depends significantly on individual use and the influences the product comes into contact with. We have no control over this after delivery.

If parts of the collar, leash, or EM collar are swallowed, there is a health risk to the animal. In this case, a veterinarian must be consulted immediately.

Allergies

If there are existing allergies to leather or tanning agents, the products must not be used. Otherwise, skin irritations may occur.

All our products are handmade to order. Please note that there is currently a processing time of up to 15 business days, plus shipping time.

For the Calma collection, a processing time of up to 20 business days, plus shipping time, must be allowed.

For collar sizes XL (51+) with a strap width of approx. 2.5 cm, a processing time of up to 20 business days also applies.

Please also note that colors may vary slightly from the pictures. Furthermore, color variations may occur with later reorders using the same colors (especially with leather), as the material may then come from a different batch.
